Have yourself a Merry little Christmas

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family...

Try eating a salad before a big meal and remember there is no point in making yourself feel guilty if you overindulge. I'm going to make the healthiest choices I can, and perhaps you can do the same!

  2. Yep. Guilt over eating that you have done is wasted emotions. Maybe resolve for better... resolve next time.

Merry Christmas and Boxing Day - belated.

  3. Oh I just looked at those good mornings. You had better have good abs. Working on my abs should be job number one. I have a bad back and that would be the smart move. WOULD BE.

    Good post.

  4. Hi Nicole, thanks for visiting my blog, it's great to meet you as well. I'm glad to hear that you are in recovery after 11 years. Your Gwendolyn is pretty darn cute too!

When describing myself to my therapist, I told her that I was bulimic for four years, stopped purging but never fixed the underlying issues for another twenty years. After CBT, I'm starting to feel like a normal eater for the first time in my life!

  5. Munchberry - Guilt is a wasted emotion, but it can also make you eat. Guilt feelings about overeating, eating "bad" foods, not eating enough "healthy" foods can generate anxiety about eating, and anxiety feels like hunger causing one to overeat when one is actually not hungry!

Hey - My back has gotten so much better when I started swimming again... Have you thought any more on joining a masters swim club?

  6. Huh. I see I thought I was posting on Squat like a lady @2:11. Lordy I am brain dead.

Yes. I have thought about it. A lot really. I did a couple days in the pool while in FL and it got me rolling and then I happened on to an old laminated swim workout card. I thought between your blog and the card maybe it was a sign to get wet again here at home.

you are right - It would do wonders for my aching back.
