And I want to eat less of certain foods that might not be the very best choice. I used to love to travel so that I could eat the food on the road...now I pretty much pack my own stuff or buy from a grocery store once I get where ever I am going. If my only choice was a fastfood joint like McDonalds, I probably wouldn't eat!KCLAnderson (Karen)http://kclanderson.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7955580886906208700.post-34935648715900552862012-04-10T01:42:21.980-04:002012-04-10T01:42:21.980-04:00Huh. You get me thinking as usual. I eat what I ...Huh. You get me thinking as usual. I eat what I want most all the time. Sometimes I get resentful suddenly and surprisingly over trivialities like "I want a piece of regular bread and not my little buns I use. If I get that feeling again the next day, I eat the bread and be done with it. A slice.

I think I just do not put temptation on my plate as a rule. If I do, it is something special and I just suck it up and treat it as a treat and enjoy it. In fact when we had our party I fixed some caloric and fatty things. I had a bit of each thing I made and just thought well, you give and you take. But mostly I eat my own cooking where I control what goes in and how it is prepared. I do not feel deprived, I love what I cook, eat lots of different things at dinner (not so much for day time) and try like hail not to have anything left over - or I think about it and probably eat it. Which - low calorie and healthy or not, it is calories. I have portion issues especially if beans are involved. I don't know why.

I get a little weird when we go out. I am still working on that. My eyes want more than I can eat. I know. WHAT? I am a mental OINK.

The hot mug of water is a winner for me Kara. Thank you.

I am not going to think about you spinning a salad while changing cubby. I just won't.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7955580886906208700.post-20398002116451539022012-04-09T19:19:38.950-04:002012-04-09T19:19:38.950-04:00Not dieting is so freeing!!!Not dieting is so freeing!!!Eating as a Path to Yogahttp://eatingasapathtoyoga.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7955580886906208700.post-20312115003811285172012-04-09T16:31:10.220-04:002012-04-09T16:31:10.220-04:00I can not agree with you more.
